Amenities at Greenview

Although Greenview Park may be a medium sized retirement village, it boasts many of the amenities that you would only expect of much larger villages. Residents can have the best of both worlds – the personalised service from Greenview Park Village together with the friendliness and companionship from being part of a smaller community.People don’t particularly like the idea of living in a large apartment block.  The village feel is enhanced by a series of duplex villas , and a small number of apartments are located in the main building.

Activities

The village community centre has a practice bowling green, gym and pool. It is also close to the local Oratia and Glen Eden Bowling Clubs and other local recreational facilities. Alternatively, residents can try their hand at many of the indoor pursuits organised at the village community centre.

Indoor Pursuits

Even for busy retirees, Greenview Park provides a multitude of pursuits and scheduled activities that residents can enjoy every day of the week. There’s a library with a large variety of books or organised activities in which residents can participate. Housie, Bingo, arts & crafts and group,  Pool table, and  exercise classes to name a few.

Clubroom & Lounge

At Greenview Park, we find that residents quickly make new friends and discover new activities to share. This could entail get-togethers in the Village Function Room or simply enjoying the company and conversation with others in the Village Lounge and Bar. Whether it’s enjoying happy hour or a special movie screening.

Pool Area

The indoor pool at Greenview Park is a heated swimming pool large enough for exercising or simply relaxing in in. Residents can ease into a spa, relax and enjoy chasing the winter chill away. For the more energetic, there is a gymnasium with a variety of exercise equipment. It’s a great place to keep up your fitness, followed by a rewarding cool-down in the pool.
